In July we had the privilege of showing the wonderful Morgan gelding, “HotShot Cross”, to his Retirement. This older gentleman is one of a kind….it takes a good horse to be called a Morgan, but a great one to be a Morgan like my buddy, “HotShot”. Congratulations Big Boy! “HotShot” is owned by Linwal Morgans.
- The “Sunrise Morgan-Arabian Classic Show” also saw “Wavaly Victoria”, owned by Linwal Morgans, being named Reserve Champion Carriage Driving horse, while their young mare, “Linwal Vanity Fair” was named Champion Halter Mare of the Show. Hopefully 2008 will see this young mare in the ring under saddle with us! Congratulations!

Congratulations to Coralie Doiron (on Dark Angel) and Bekah Rouse (on Lieja) on a super job-well done! “Ben-Adhem Dark Angel” went on to win the 2007 year-end award in the Hunter Pleasure JTR division.
- Congratulations go out to another student of Ben-Adhem Equestrian Centre-Jennifer Scobie and her Morgan mare, “The Real McCoy”, on winning the CMHA award for Hunter Under Saddle Reserve Champion. This winning combination also won four NBEA Morgan Awards.
- Congratulations to yet another student of Ben-Adhem Equestrian Centre-Natalie Worth and her Arabian mare, “Ben-Adhem Knight Melody”, on making their premiere appearance into the Arabian show ring!
- Congratulations go out to” Ben-Adhem Black Edition” and “Nic's Dixie Chex” on their winning both the Champion and Reserve Champion Reining Horses for the Western Extravaganza held in August. The organizers of this show deserve a huge amount of credit for a job well done!
- 2007 saw “Ben-Adhem Black Edition” competing along with his son -“Ben-Adhem Aramis”-in the Reining Shows along with their Quarter Horse compadre, “Nic's Dixie Chex”. “Black Edition” won the year-end Freestyle Championship while his handsome son won the Codiac Reining Horse Association Reining Derby. On the Quarter Horse note, “Nic's Dixie Chex” won the MQHA Open Reining Championship for the year 2007. WOW!
Congratulations are also in store for “Ben-Adhem Knavarre” on his capturing the ACAHA Championships in both the Road Hack & Show Hack divisions for 2007.

- A huge “Thank You” goes out to the Kincade family for allowing us to use their wonderful mare, “Caissie”, while our mares were in 'foaling mode'.
Well folks, that is all for now! Hope to see you at the shows in 2008. Or just drop by and visit for awhile. I am sure you will be impressed by the quality of horses we have here at Ben-Adhem Arabians. We do have a few for sale at this time---Won't You Give Us A Call?
